I'm 25 and live in Newcastle in the North East of England. I love the city and I'm very proud of being from this area, so it's something you'll probably hear plenty about.

Live with my fiance John, who I've been with over eight years and am marrying in October! He's my soulmate, my best friend and we're about as close as any two people can be. I'm madly in love with him.

I graduated from university in 2007 with a First Class degree (I like to boast about that!) in History and English Literature. Now I work as a senior library assistant and I love my job, tiring as it can be.

Aside from messing around online and writing letters, I can usually be found at the football (I'm a season ticket holder at Newcastle United and travel up and down the country supporting the team), planning my next travels, reading and watching DVDs.

I'm a bit of a geek, slightly anti-social and low in confidence (which makes me sound really weird, but I promise I'm not!) so I don't have too many friends in the real world. My friends mainly come from penpalling and online..­.I've met some brilliant people over the years and I'm always looking for more people to chat to and get to know.
